Initiation (Amateur) and Semi-professional (Concert):

Size 6: (Small) Less than 7 cm.

Size 4: (Medium) Between 7 cm. and 9 cm.

Size 2: (Big) More than 9 cm.

Professional, Special Teachres, Capricho Models and Jota.

Size 7: (Small) Less than 7 cm.

Size 5: (Medium) Between 7 cm. and 9 cm.

Size 3: (Big) More than 9 cm.

As a general rule in the professional range, we recommend size 3 for men and size 5 for women.

In the professional range, the measurements of the castanets vary according to the design and you must remember that being a handmade item, the measurements may vary by a few millimeters.
